Inspired by her interest in education and language, she graduated with a Master’s degree in Chinese Studies from Oxford University, before entering a career in recruitment. Ms. Banks spent 3 years working as an international recruitment consultant in London, advising and placing educators at international schools across the Middle East, South East Asia and China. Ms. Banks joined Eurus Recruitment Consultancy in 2018 as Recruitment Director and one of the founding members. In this role, she helped to develop recruitment strategy, developed and managed recruitment teams, customized the client management system and oversaw the full recruitment cycle for both local and international roles. Since becoming the company’s CEO in 2022, Ms. Banks has turned her focus to building a one stop education platform to address the requirements of the ever-changing education landscape in China. Drawing from her teaching experience, she is hoping to address the challenges educators experience during their job search, giving them a platform to exchange ideas and share resources, as well as connecting them with the opportunities to further their careers.
